AS A RESULT:

  • You find yourself operating from a deficit place. Playing it small so others question your credibility and trust towards you; particularly, in the face of crisis and ambiguity.

  • You and your team are frustrated. You lose productivity because you’re spending most of your time putting out fires, dealing with constant interruptions and solving others’ emergencies. Your time and attention have moved away from the things that you should be focused on.

  • You find yourself stuck or indecisive, likely spending time in many different areas or on the next new shiny program, initiative or materials- most that are not aligned to your organization’s/school’s priority.

  • Both internal and external forces have contributed to your anxiety. You find yourself feeling hopeless because of the complexity, lack of support and/or insurmountable weight of resistance and frustration on you and your staff.

  • There is no strategic plan in place for how you are monitoring progress, collecting data, and communicating strategically on your successes and areas of improvement. Therefore, you and your team are not achieving at the level that you’d like to see. They are complaint but not bought in.

  • You’re seeing team dysfunction in communication and are wondering how to approach conflict, difficult personalities, and team dynamics; whether it’s with individuals that are in upper management, colleagues or direct reports.

  • Not quite sure how to best approach your most pressing challenges and likely see engagement, attendance, culture, or instructional challenges.
